Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Muscat, Oman

About the Role:
Join the House of AMOUAGE as a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Technician to support our Quality team in daily operations. This hands-on role is ideal for those seeking experience in quality control, inspection processes, and continuous improvement in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process checks during mixing, filling, and final packaging.

  • Identify, document, and escalate non-conformities related to materials, bulk, and finished goods.

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results.

  • Ensure production personnel follow proper procedures for ongoing production checks.

  • Monitor and verify adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards across production lines.

  • Conduct sampling of raw materials, bulk mixtures, and finished products per established protocols.

  • Support validation activities for new equipment, processes, and product trials.

  • Review batch records for completeness and accuracy before product release.

  • Participate in internal audits and assist with documentation for external audits.

  • Verify proper labeling, coding, and traceability of materials throughout production.

  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues in real time.

  • Maintain inventory of QC consumables and keep the laboratory organized and compliant.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Industrial Chemistry, or related discipline.

  • ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9001 certification.

  • Proficient in GC Chromatography analysis.

  • Previous Quality Control experience in chemicals, cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Sensory skills with the ability to evaluate fragrances.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

  • إجراء فحوصات واختبارات روتينية للمواد الخام الواردة، وفحوصات أثناء الخلط، التعبئة، والتغليف النهائي.

  • تحديد وتوثيق وتصعيد حالات عدم المطابقة المتعلقة بالمواد، الخامات، والمنتجات النهائية.

  • تشغيل ومعايرة وصيانة أجهزة المختبر.

  • الحفاظ على دقة توثيق نتائج الفحص والجودة.

  • التأكد من التزام فرق الإنتاج بالإجراءات الصحيحة للفحوصات المستمرة أثناء الإنتاج.

  • مراقبة والتحقق من الالتزام بالإجراءات التشغيلية الموحدة (SOPs)، تعليمات العمل، ومعايير الجودة عبر خطوط الإنتاج.

  • أخذ عينات من المواد الخام، الخلطات، والمنتجات النهائية وفق البروتوكولات المعتمدة.

  • دعم أنشطة التحقق من المعدات والعمليات الجديدة، وتجارب المنتجات.

  • مراجعة سجلات الدُفعات للتأكد من اكتمالها ودقتها قبل إصدار المنتج.

  • المشاركة في عمليات التدقيق الداخلي والمساعدة في إعداد الوثائق للتدقيق الخارجي.

  • التحقق من صحة التوسيم، الترميز، وتعقب المواد أثناء الإنتاج.

  • التعاون مع فرق الإنتاج والبحث والتطوير لحل مشكلات الجودة في الوقت الفعلي.

  • الحفاظ على مخزون مواد التحكم بالجودة وتنظيم المختبر وفق المعايير.

المؤهلات والمهارات:

  • بكالوريوس علوم في الكيمياء، الصيدلة، الكيمياء الصناعية أو مجال ذي صلة.

  • شهادات ISO 17025 و/أو ISO 9001.

  • إجادة تحليل كروماتوجرافيا الغاز (GC).

  • خبرة سابقة في مراقبة الجودة ضمن صناعة المواد الكيميائية، مستحضرات التجميل، الغذاء، أو الأدوية.

  • مهارات حسية لتقييم العطور.
