About the Baker Hughes Internship

The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives.

Our internship will provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E). You'll participate in technical training, team meetings, work on projects, and present your results.

Intern Responsibilities

As an Intern, you will be:

  • Receiving coaching and mentoring to complete assignments and develop your skillset.

  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.

  • Learning internal software to support project and task completion.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns, allowing you to network with global business leaders.

  • Applying HS&E standards and procedures in all situations to maintain compliance.

Fuel Your Passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering.

  • Have a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (or equivalent).

  • Be fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic, with strong communication skills.

  • Be legally entitled to work in Oman without company sponsorship or restrictions.

بصفتك متدربًا، ستقوم بـ:



  • تلقي التدريب والتوجيه لإتمام المهام وتطوير مهاراتك.


  • تنفيذ مشاريع داخلية بهدف تحسين الأعمال وتحقيق نتائج أفضل للعملاء.


  • تعلم استخدام البرامج الداخلية لدعم تنفيذ المشاريع والمهام.


  • التعاون مع فرق مختلفة ومتدربين آخرين، مما يمنحك فرصة للتواصل مع قادة الأعمال عالميًا.


  • الالتزام بمعايير وإجراءات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة في جميع المواقف.

متطلبات النجاح في البرنامج


لكي تكون مؤهلًا للانضمام، يجب أن:



  • تكون مسجّلًا حاليًا في بكالوريوس هندسة ميكانيكية أو كهربائية أو بترولية.


  • تمتلك معدلًا تراكميًا 3 من 4 أو أعلى (أو ما يعادله).


  • تتقن اللغة الإنجليزية والعربية تحدثًا وكتابة وتمتلك مهارات تواصل فعّالة.


  • تكون مؤهلاً قانونيًا للعمل في عُمان دون الحاجة إلى كفالة أو قيود.
