Field Service Engineer – Aero Derivative Gas Turbines / Baker Hughes, Oman

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee site activities, including planning, assigning manpower, tools, and resources to ensure work completion according to contractual requirements.

  • Service Execution: Lead and execute service activities on LM 2500 and LM 6000 machines, including unit start-up and level 1 inspections.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to complete the work scope and ensure continuous operations.

  • Installation & Commissioning: Supervise installation and commissioning of gas turbines on site.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare professional reports, act as a single point of contact between customers and Baker Hughes engineering team, and manage technical documentation including packing lists, bills of material, and drawings.

  • Contract Compliance: Ensure total fulfillment and compliance with contractual requirements in close liaison with project and service managers.
