Managing Associate – Corporate Practice | FALC

Lead high-profile corporate and M&A transactions with Oman’s top corporations and investment funds!

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and manage complex M&A, private equity, and strategic joint venture transactions.

  • Supervise and mentor teams of associates on multiple concurrent transactions.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to boards and C-suite executives on strategic investments, restructurings, and market entry strategies.

  • Lead complex negotiations with international counterparties and structure innovative solutions.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities.

  • Oversee regulatory strategy for major transactions, including FSA approvals, MOCIIP compliance, and foreign ownership structuring.

  • Collaborate with partners on business development initiatives and pitch presentations.

  • Review and approve work product from junior team members ensuring consistent quality standards.

  • Contribute to thought leadership and represent the firm at industry events.

Requirements / Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years of corporate/M&A experience with a strong track record of closing sophisticated transactions.

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships independently and generate new business.

  • Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers.

  • Deep expertise in Omani commercial law, capital markets, and investment regulations.

  • Strong presence and gravitas when dealing with senior executives and government officials.

  • Excellent commercial judgment and ability to provide strategic business-oriented counsel.

  • English fluency essential; Arabic strongly preferred.

  • Admission to practice in Oman or eligibility for admission.

  • الإشراف وتوجيه فرق المحامين المبتدئين أثناء التعامل مع عدة صفقات في وقت واحد.

  • قيادة المفاوضات المعقدة مع الأطراف الدولية ووضع حلول مبتكرة للصفقات عالية المخاطر.

  • تطوير العلاقات مع العملاء الرئيسيين واستكشاف فرص أعمال جديدة.

  • متابعة الاستراتيجية التنظيمية للصفقات الكبرى، بما يشمل موافقات FSA والامتثال لمجلس التجارة العماني وترتيبات الملكية الأجنبية.

  • التعاون مع الشركاء في المبادرات التجارية والعروض التقديمية.

  • مراجعة وإقرار عمل أعضاء الفريق المبتدئين وضمان جودة ثابتة.

  • المشاركة في الفعاليات القانونية والقيادة الفكرية للمكتب.

المتطلبات / المرشح المثالي

  • خبرة 10 سنوات فما فوق في قانون الشركات أو الاندماج والاستحواذ مع سجل مثبت في إتمام الصفقات المعقدة.

  • القدرة على إدارة علاقات العملاء بشكل مستقل وتوليد فرص أعمال جديدة.

  • خبرة في الإشراف على المحامين المبتدئين وتطويرهم.

  • معرفة عميقة بالقوانين التجارية العمانية وأسواق رأس المال وأنظمة الاستثمار.

  • حضور قوي وهيبة عند التعامل مع كبار التنفيذيين والمسؤولين الحكوميين.

  • حكم تجاري ممتاز والقدرة على تقديم استشارات استراتيجية موجهة للأعمال.

  • إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية ضروري؛ اللغة العربية ميزة قوية.

  • القبول بمزاولة المهنة في عمان أو استيفاء شروط القبول.
