Environmental Assistant Engineer – Drive Sustainable Excellence

Key Responsibilities

Policy & System Management

  • Assist in developing and updating environmental management policies and inspection standards.

  • Maintain knowledge of local environmental regulations and company standards.

  • Monitor implementation effectiveness on-site and suggest improvements to policies and checklists.

Area Inspection & Communication

  • Oversee safety and environmental compliance in assigned areas.

  • Conduct daily inspections following departmental audit plans.

  • Supervise corrective and preventive actions and verify timely closure.

  • Drive compliance improvement through team communication and meetings.

  • Monitor environmental facilities to ensure pollutant emissions meet standards.

External Coordination

  • Ensure timely completion of compliance tasks such as periodic testing.

  • Lead preparation for environmental inspections and assist in external audits.

Management System Support

  • Support the operation of ISO 14001 and assist with external audits.

  • Participate in ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 system activities.

Minor Responsibilities

  • Handle departmental administrative tasks.

  • Support investigation of environmental and safety incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (not required for Assistant Engineer position).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication skills and high learning capacity.

إدارة السياسات والأنظمة

  • متابعة فعالية التنفيذ في الموقع واقتراح تحسينات للسياسات وقوائم التفتيش.

التفتيش على المنطقة والتواصل

  • الإشراف على الالتزام بالسلامة والبيئة في المناطق المخصصة.

  • إجراء التفتيشات اليومية وفق خطة التدقيق للقسم.

  • متابعة الإجراءات التصحيحية والوقائية والتأكد من إغلاقها في الوقت المناسب.

  • تعزيز الالتزام من خلال الاجتماعات والتواصل مع الفريق.

  • مراقبة تشغيل المرافق البيئية لضمان الالتزام بمعايير انبعاث الملوثات.

التنسيق الخارجي

  • التأكد من تنفيذ المهام المتعلقة بالامتثال مثل الفحوصات الدورية في الوقت المناسب.

  • قيادة التحضير للتفتيشات البيئية والمساعدة في التدقيقات الخارجية.

دعم أنظمة الإدارة

  • دعم تشغيل نظام ISO 14001 والمساعدة في التدقيقات الخارجية.

  • المشاركة في أنشطة أنظمة ISO 45001 وISO 9001.

المهام الثانوية

  • تنفيذ المهام الإدارية داخل القسم.

  • دعم التحقيق في الحوادث البيئية والسلامة، بما في ذلك تحليل السبب الجذري ومتابعة الإجراءات التصحيحية.
