About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver lessons that inspire and challenge students in line with the school curriculum and assessment requirements. Individualise and differentiate learning to ensure all students make outstanding progress.

  • Supporting and Assessing Progress: Regularly assess student learning and provide targeted feedback to support growth.

  • Building a Positive Learning Environment: Create a classroom where students feel valued, supported, and encouraged to take risks in learning.

  • Collaborating and Sharing Best Practices: Work closely with colleagues, sharing practices, collaborating, and pursuing professional development.

  • Contributing to School Life: Participate in co-curricular activities, clubs, and school initiatives to enrich students’ educational experience.

  • Collaborating with Parents: Maintain constructive communication with parents to support student progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (or equivalent) and a strong commitment to child welfare.

  • Degree + PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification teaching experience.

  • Experience delivering the British curriculum to Primary students.

  • Confidence in using ICT in teaching.

  • High expectations and aspirations for all students.

  • An open-minded, committed, and passionate approach to teaching.

  • Experience in high-performing international schools is an advantage.
