Materials Controller – Muscat, Oman

In this role, you will ensure smooth, accurate, and safe handling of materials across storage operations, supporting project teams with real-time reporting and precise documentation to keep every job running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe and efficient operation of materials movement and storage within the site.

  • Ensure proper labeling and recording of materials according to warehouse procedures.

  • Receive and issue materials, ensuring correct preservation guidelines are followed.

  • Verify delivery notes against actual materials received and raise discrepancy reports when needed.

  • Record daily SAP/ERP transactions and generate daily receipt/issue reports.

  • Check cargo manifests to ensure all incoming and outgoing materials have appropriate documentation.

  • Maintain proper records of released materials and surplus items.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders (Project Engineers, Expediting, Construction, Stores, Contractors) to update material status for ongoing and planned projects.

  • Control contractor material issuance and ensure job material needs are fulfilled.

  • Produce regular reports on outstanding materials to support successful project delivery.

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining material traceability from request to inspection.

Requirements

  • Diploma / ITI or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Materials Controller.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Proficiency in material management systems such as SAP / Oracle.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

  • الإشراف على حركة وتخزين المواد داخل الموقع بشكل آمن وفعّال.

  • التأكد من وضع الملصقات وتسجيل المواد حسب إجراءات إدارة المستودعات.

  • استلام وصرف المواد مع تطبيق إرشادات الحفاظ عليها بشكل صحيح.

  • مطابقة إيصالات التسليم مع المواد الفعلية والإبلاغ عن أي اختلافات.

  • تسجيل المعاملات اليومية في أنظمة SAP أو الأنظمة الأخرى وإعداد تقارير يومية.

  • مراجعة قوائم الشحن والتأكد من وجود الوثائق المطلوبة لجميع المواد والمعدات الواردة والصادرة.

  • الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة للمواد المصروفة والفائضة.

  • التنسيق مع المهندسين وفِرق التوريد والبناء والمخازن والمقاولين لتحديث حالة المواد للمشاريع الجارية والمستقبلية.

  • مراقبة صرف المواد من قبل المقاول وضمان تلبية احتياجات كل مشروع.

  • إعداد تقارير دورية بالمواد المتبقية لضمان إنجاز المشروع بنجاح.

  • المساهمة في إعداد وتتبع المواد من مرحلة الطلب حتى التفتيش.

المتطلبات

  • دبلوم / معهد صناعي أو ما يعادل ذلك.

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات كمراقب مواد.

  • مهارات تواصل قوية.

  • إجادة استخدام أنظمة إدارة المواد مثل SAP / Oracle.
