Electrical Cost Engineer – Oman | EPC Projects

Take charge of electrical project costing and BOQ preparation, working on high-voltage systems up to 33kV. Join a dynamic EPC environment where your technical and commercial expertise directly impacts project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • BOQ Preparation: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for electrical systems up to 33kV.

  • Cost Estimation & Pricing: Accurately cost and price BOQs for tenders and project execution, including materials, labor, and overheads.

  • EPC Project Costing: Handle end-to-end costing for EPC projects, from design to commissioning.

  • Client Engagement: Conduct technical discussions, presentations, negotiations, and provide customized technical and commercial solutions.

  • Project Coordination: Liaise with procurement, design, and execution teams to ensure alignment with BOQ and client requirements.

  • Technical Expertise: Work with electrical equipment including Transformers, HT/LT Panels, Switchgears, Cables, Protection systems, Ring Main Units (RMU), VFDs, and Capacitor Banks. Ensure compliance with standards for 33kV systems and proficiently interpret SLDs, layout drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Tools & Software: Utilize AutoCAD for electrical layouts and MS Excel for advanced costing and BOQ management.
