About the Company
Our client is a respected international contractor specializing in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, known for delivering complex infrastructure projects globally.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager – Marine to oversee the design and construction of marina infrastructure works in Al Khuwair Downtown, Oman. Projects include:

  • Main Breakwater (1,500m)

  • Low Crested Breakwaters (500m & 300m)

  • Pipe Protection Structures

Reporting to the Marine & Infrastructure Division’s Operations Manager, the Project Manager will manage budgets, personnel, project schedules, and ensure project objectives are met with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply modern project management practices from inception to completion.

  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policies and local regulations.

  • Manage contracts, commercial aspects, and risk; forecast costs and revenue.

  • Develop and implement effective risk management plans.

  • Maintain strong client relationships to meet expectations.

  • Resolve project issues, escalating only critical or strategic matters to the Operations Manager.

  • Ensure adequate resources and materials are in place; coordinate across the organization.

  • Authorize construction schedules and subcontractor engagements.

  • Lead engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in large-scale marine and infrastructure projects with a Tier 1 contractor.

  • Portfolio must include at least two successfully delivered EPC (Design & Construct) marine/infrastructure projects.

  • Experience with complex projects valued over 150 million USD, including ports, jetties, breakwaters, bridges, pumping stations, water treatment plants, tunnels, dams, etc.
