Job Description
Job Title: IS Support Technician
Location: Oman
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
As part of the IS team at OCI, you will provide IS administration support to staff across the organization, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems, networks, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line support for network equipment (edge switches), passive cabling (Ethernet and fiber), and CCTV systems.

Assist users with hardware and software issues, including PCs, printers, industrial PCs, smartphones, and tablets.

Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of IT equipment.

Set up IS infrastructure in conference and boardrooms.
-
Install and configure PCs, peripherals, application software, and anti-virus solutions.

Maintain records of all IT assets and manage hardware/software requisitions.

Handle basic configuration of network switches and security patches on user PCs.

Conduct user awareness training on IS applications.
-
Collaborate with third-party vendors for maintenance tasks.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology.
-
IT certifications preferred (ITIL, CCNA).

Minimum 3 years of experience in related industries.

Strong understanding of IT operations, computer/network security, and troubleshooting.

Excellent bilingual communication skills (English & Arabic).

Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
-
Willingness to work flexible hours when required.

نبذة عن الدور الوظيفي:
كجزء من فريق نظم المعلومات في شركة OCI، ستقدم الدعم الإداري لتقنية المعلومات للموظفين في جميع أنحاء المؤسسة، لضمان تشغيل سلس لجميع الأنظمة والشبكات والبنية التحتية ذات الصلة.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

تقديم الدعم الفني الأولي لأجهزة الشبكة (Switches)، الكابلات السلبية (Ethernet وFiber)، وأنظمة المراقبة CCTV.

مساعدة المستخدمين في حل مشاكل الأجهزة والبرامج بما يشمل أجهزة الكمبيوتر والطابعات وأجهزة الكمبيوتر الصناعية والهواتف الذكية والأجهزة اللوحية.

إجراء الصيانة الوقائية واستكشاف مشاكل أجهزة تقنية المعلومات وحلها.
-
إعداد بنية نظم المعلومات في غرف الاجتماعات والمجلس.
-
تثبيت وتكوين أجهزة الكمبيوتر والملحقات وبرامج التطبيقات وبرامج مضاد الفيروسات.
-
الحفاظ على سجلات جميع أصول تقنية المعلومات وإدارة طلبات الأجهزة والبرامج.
-
التعامل مع الإعداد الأساسي لمفاتيح الشبكة وتحديثات الأمان على أجهزة المستخدمين.
-
إجراء جلسات تدريبية لزيادة وعي المستخدمين بتطبيقات نظم المعلومات.
-
التعاون مع البائعين الخارجيين لأعمال الصيانة.
-
المشاركة في مبادرات تحسين العمليات لزيادة الكفاءة وتقليل التكاليف.
المؤهلات والخبرة:
-
دبلوم في علوم الكمبيوتر / تقنية المعلومات.
-
شهادات تقنية مفضلة (ITIL، CCNA).
-
خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في الصناعات ذات الصلة.
-
فهم قوي لعمليات تقنية المعلومات، أمان الشبكات والحواسيب، واستكشاف المشكلات وحلها.
-
مهارات اتصال ممتازة باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.
-
مهارات تنظيمية وتحليلية وخدمة عملاء قوية.
-
الاستعداد للعمل لساعات مرنة عند الحاجة.
