Job Title: Electrical & I&C Site Supervisor – PV Plant

Location: Sohar, Oman
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Approx. 6 months)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical and I&C works on site for the PV plant (DC strings, inverters, transformers, LV/MV equipment, earthing and lightning, cabling, and terminations)

  • Monitor contractors to ensure compliance with design, technical specifications, HSE, and quality requirements

  • Review and comment on electrical method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, and test procedures

  • Witness inspections and testing/commissioning activities as required

  • Prepare daily/weekly supervision reports and highlight risks, delays, and technical issues to the Project Manager

Additional Information:

  • Full-time presence on site in Sohar for approx. 6 months, with possible extension

  • Candidates available for short-term assignment are encouraged to apply

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical & Electronics)

  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in electrical site supervision, including 3–5 years on utility-scale solar PV or power generation/substation projects

  • Solid understanding of PV plant systems, MV/LV distribution, and protection

  • GCC experience and familiarity with local standards/utility requirements are a plus

  • Strong communication and reporting skills in English

  • Availability to mobilize to Sohar by end of January / beginning of February 2026

نوع الوظيفة: دوام كامل، في الموقع (حوالي 6 أشهر)

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

  • الإشراف على الأعمال الكهربائية وأعمال الأجهزة والتحكم في الموقع لمحطة الطاقة الشمسية (أسلاك DC، العواكس، المحولات، معدات LV/MV، التأريض والحماية من الصواعق، التوصيلات والكابلات)

  • متابعة المقاولين لضمان الالتزام بالتصاميم والمواصفات الفنية ومتطلبات السلامة والجودة

  • مراجعة بيانات الطريقة، جداول الاختبارات، الرسومات التنفيذية وإجراءات الاختبار الكهربائية

  • متابعة التفتيشات وأنشطة الاختبار والتشغيل حسب الحاجة

  • إعداد تقارير الإشراف اليومية/الأسبوعية وتسليط الضوء على المخاطر، التأخيرات، والمشاكل الفنية للمدير المشروع

معلومات إضافية:

  • التواجد الكامل في الموقع بصحار لمدة حوالي 6 أشهر، مع إمكانية التمديد

  • يُشجع المتقدمون المتاحون للعمل لفترة قصيرة على التقديم

المؤهلات:

  • شهادة بكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو هندسة كهرباء وإلكترونيات

  • خبرة من 7 إلى 10 سنوات في الإشراف على المواقع الكهربائية، بما في ذلك 3–5 سنوات في مشاريع الطاقة الشمسية على نطاق واسع أو توليد الطاقة/محطات فرعية
