Civil Supervisor – Industrial & Energy Projects (Sohar, Oman)

Lead civil construction excellence on cutting-edge industrial and renewable energy projects!

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all civil construction activities on site (foundations, equipment bases, buildings, cable trenches, access roads, drainage, fencing, etc.).

  • Monitor contractor works to ensure compliance with design, specifications, quality, and HSE requirements.

  • Review and provide comments on civil method statements, ITPs, and shop drawings; follow up on inspections and tests.

  • Record progress, non-conformities, and site issues; prepare daily/weekly reports for the Project Manager.

  • Coordinate with electrical/I&C teams, HSE, and EPC contractors to resolve field clashes and maintain project schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in civil works supervision for industrial, power, or energy projects (PV/renewables preferred).

  • Previous GCC / Oman experience is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of international construction standards and QA/QC practices.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.

  • Availability to mobilize to Sohar at short notice.

  • Full-time presence on site in Sohar for approximately 3 months, with possible extension.

  • Only candidates available for the short-term assignment will be considered.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

  • الإشراف على جميع الأعمال المدنية في الموقع (الأساسات، قواعد المعدات، المباني، خنادق الكابلات، الطرق، الصرف، السياج، إلخ).

  • مراقبة أعمال المقاولين لضمان الامتثال للتصميم والمواصفات والجودة ومتطلبات الصحة والسلامة.

  • مراجعة وتقديم الملاحظات على بيانات طرق التنفيذ، وخطط الاختبارات، والرسومات التنفيذية؛ متابعة الفحوصات والاختبارات.

  • توثيق التقدم، المخالفات، ومشاكل الموقع؛ إعداد تقارير يومية/أسبوعية لمدير المشروع.

  • التنسيق مع فرق الكهرباء/التحكم، الصحة والسلامة، والمقاولين لحل التعارضات الميدانية وضمان الالتزام بالجداول الزمنية.

المؤهلات والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية.

  • خبرة من 7–10 سنوات في الإشراف على الأعمال المدنية لمشاريع صناعية أو طاقية (تجربة في الطاقة المتجددة مفضلة).

  • خبرة سابقة في دول مجلس التعاون / عمان ميزة إضافية.

  • معرفة قوية بمعايير البناء الدولية وممارسات الجودة.

  • مهارات اتصال وتقارير ممتازة باللغة الإنجليزية.

  • القدرة على الانتقال إلى صحار في فترة قصيرة.
