Position Summary
We are seeking a Lab Chemist in Oman specializing in the analysis of Gasoil, Gasoline, Crude Oil, Benzene, Paraxylene, and Methanol.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review orders and ensure tests are conducted as per client specifications and standard methods.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17025:2017 quality systems and company HSE standards.

  • Register samples and enter data in Excel/LIMS in strict compliance with laboratory procedures.

  • Communicate deviations from standard methods to supervisor/manager.

  • Conduct internal calibration and verification of laboratory equipment and glassware.

  • Perform Statistical Quality Control (SQC) analysis on tests.

  • Authorize issuance of Certificates of Quality.

  • Manage stocks, and prepare reagents and solvents.

  • Maintain general housekeeping and ensure laboratory cleanliness.

  • Oversee laboratory sample storage and proper disposal.

  • Adhere to HSE policies and SGS Code of Integrity, Impartiality, and Sustainability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Basic to Intermediate).

  • Prior experience handling/testing Gasoil, Gasoline, Crude Oil, Benzene, Paraxylene, and Methanol.

  • خبرة سابقة في التعامل والاختبار على غازوول، البنزين، النفط الخام، البنزين – باراكسيلين، والميثانول.
