Job Description

Position Overview

      • We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance Department in Muscat, Oman.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

        • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.

        • Excellent problem-solving skills.

        • Hands-on experience working with General Ledgers.

        • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

        • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

        • Proficient with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).

Key Responsibilities

        • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, analysis, and reconciliations for General Ledger, Debtors, Creditors, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations.

        • Post journal entries for accrued expenses, recurring entries, and revenue; maintain Fixed Assets, Depreciation, and Amortization.

        • Prepare and file local compliance reports as necessary (VAT).

        • Awareness of Oman tax regulations is an advantage (VAT, Corporate Tax, Labor compliance including Pension, WPS, etc.).

        • Prepare MIS reports, inventory reports, reconciliations, and assist with internal audits.

        • Act as a liaison for vendors and clients to reconcile any billing discrepancies, payments, and discount rates.

        • المساعدة في إعداد البيانات المالية، التحليلات والمصالحة للحسابات العامة، المدينين، الدائنين، الأصول الثابتة، والمراجعات البنكية.


        • تسجيل القيود المحاسبية للنفقات المستحقة، القيود الدورية والإيرادات، وصيانة الأصول الثابتة والاستهلاك والإهلاك.


        • إعداد وتقديم التقارير المحلية للامتثال حسب الحاجة (مثل ضريبة القيمة المضافة).


        • الوعي بالقوانين الضريبية في عمان ميزة إضافية (ضريبة القيمة المضافة، ضريبة الشركات، والامتثال العمالي مثل التقاعد، WPS، إلخ).


        • إعداد تقارير MIS، تقارير المخزون والمصالحة، والمساعدة في التدقيق الداخلي.


        • التواصل مع البائعين والعملاء لتسوية أي اختلافات في الفواتير والمدفوعات ونسب الخصم.
