Job Description

      Commercial and Corporate Legal Affairs

      Contract Drafting and Review

      • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and documents related to the company’s business activities, including services, suppliers, branding/marketing, leasing, vendors, confidentiality, IP, and employment.

      • Assess potential legal risks and implications of contracts and report them to management.

      • Conduct legal research and draft opinions on various legal matters to support decision-making.

      Legal Advisory & Compliance

      • Provide expert legal advice on contractual, commercial, and legislative matters to business units and management.

      • Analyze company projects and initiatives to identify potential risks and recommend compliance and mitigation measures.

      • Support drafting and negotiation of legal documents related to Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Compliance, Contracts, Corporate Governance, and International Law.

      • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including consumer protection, IP, and food control regulations.

      Litigation Management

      External Legal Coordination

      • Delegate and manage litigation cases or investigations with external law firms.

      • Provide necessary evidence or documents to support external law firms, collaborating with relevant business units.

      • Submit police reports and coordinate with government relations and PA teams as required.

      Legal Risk Assessment & Local Counsel Relations

      • Provide guidance to management and stakeholders on potential legal risks associated with lawsuits or investigations.

      • Cultivate and maintain relationships with local law firms to obtain prompt and relevant counsel.

      • Seek assistance from local law firms in drafting or revising contracts with regulatory or compliance risks.
