Corporate & Commercial Legal Counsel | Talabat (Delivery Hero Group) | Oman

Role Overview

Commercial & Corporate Legal Affairs

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for services, suppliers, marketing, leasing, vendors, confidentiality, IP, and employment.

  • Conduct legal research and prepare opinions on various corporate and commercial matters.

  • Assess legal risks in contracts and provide guidance to management.

  • Advise business units and management on contractual, legislative, and commercial matters.

  • Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to applicable laws, including consumer protection, IP, and food control regulations.

Litigation & External Legal Coordination

  • Manage litigation cases and investigations in collaboration with external law firms.

  • Provide evidence and documentation to support legal proceedings.

  • Liaise with government authorities, police, and internal teams on legal matters.

  • Evaluate potential legal risks and provide actionable recommendations to management.

  • Maintain relationships with local law firms for timely legal counsel and contract support.

Regulatory Affairs

  • Conduct in-depth regulatory analysis and assess the impact on company operations.

  • Provide recommendations for compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Manage responses to regulatory inquiries or investigations, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.

  • Represent the company before regulatory authorities as needed.

  • Develop compliance checklists for new products and projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law; LLM or additional qualifications advantageous.

  • Minimum 4–5 years of progressive legal experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, or an international law firm.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Omani laws and regulations.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent project management, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.

إدارة التقاضي والتنسيق مع الجهات القانونية الخارجية

  • إدارة قضايا التقاضي والتحقيقات بالتعاون مع مكاتب المحاماة الخارجية.

  • توفير الأدلة والوثائق لدعم الإجراءات القانونية.

  • التنسيق مع الجهات الحكومية والشرطة والفرق الداخلية في الأمور القانونية.

  • الحفاظ على علاقات مع مكاتب المحاماة المحلية لتقديم استشارات قانونية سريعة ودعم العقود.

المؤهلات والمتطلبات

  • بكالوريوس في القانون؛ يفضل شهادة LLM أو مؤهلات إضافية.

  • خبرة عملية متقدمة من 4–5 سنوات في مجال قانوني، ويفضل في التجارة الإلكترونية أو شركات التكنولوجيا أو مكاتب قانونية دولية.

  • خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في قوانين وأنظمة عمان.

  • مهارات تحليلية ونقدية قوية، وحل المشكلات.

  • مهارات إدارة المشاريع، التفاوض، والتواصل ممتازة.

  • القدرة على العمل تحت ضغوط المواعيد النهائية، وذو عقلية استباقية ومرنة وتركز على النتائج.
