Job Description

Vertex Engineering Consultancy LLC is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a solid background in Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably with GCC exposure and direct involvement with major Omani Oil & Gas operators and EPC contractors.

Candidates with hands-on experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Brownfield and greenfield projects

  • Wellhead and flowline works

  • Overhead lines (OHL)

  • Substations

  • Field modifications and upgrade works

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute detailed electrical design and engineering for Oil & Gas facilities.

  • Prepare electrical deliverables, including single-line diagrams, load lists, cable sizing, grounding/lightning designs, and equipment selection.

  • Review vendor documentation, engineering drawings, construction packages, and material specifications.

  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure full compliance with project requirements.

  • Conduct site visits, prepare as-built documentation, and provide support during construction and commissioning phases.

  • Ensure adherence to Oman Oil & Gas standards (PDO SPs, OQ GN standards, IEC, IEEE, NEC, IP codes, etc.).

  • Develop technical reports, engineering calculations, and method statements.

  • Participate in technical and project coordination meetings.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

  • إعداد مخططات الأحادية، قوائم الأحمال، حسابات مقاسات الكابلات، تصميم التأريض والبرق، واختيار المعدات.

  • مراجعة مستندات الموردين، الرسومات الهندسية، حزم الإنشاء، والمواصفات الفنية.

  • التنسيق مع فرق الهندسة متعددة التخصصات لضمان توافق الأعمال مع متطلبات المشروع.

  • القيام بزيارات ميدانية وإعداد مستندات الـ As-Built ودعم فرق الإنشاء والتشغيل عند الحاجة.

  • الالتزام بالمعايير العُمانية لقطاع النفط والغاز (PDO SPs، OQ GN، IEC، IEEE، NEC، IP Codes).

  • إعداد التقارير الفنية والحسابات الهندسية وطرق التنفيذ.

  • المشاركة في الاجتماعات الفنية واجتماعات تنسيق المشاريع.
