        Position Overview

          Wood is recruiting a Senior Chemist / Lab Expert to join its Projects team in Sohar, Oman. The ideal candidate will have experience in Petroleum Refinery, handling PQC & PQA of gases, hydrocarbons, utility, and environmental samples using sophisticated analytical techniques and complex analysers. Familiarity with ASTM, UOP, APHA, IP, SMS testing methods is essential.

        Key Responsibilities

          • Perform advanced laboratory analysis of refinery gases, hydrocarbons, utility, and environmental samples.

          • Apply sophisticated analytical techniques and operate complex analysers.

          • Ensure adherence to PQC & PQA standards in all lab operations.

          • Follow and implement recognized testing methods including ASTM, UOP, APHA, SMS, IP.
